Furniture removal in Pearland
Most furniture leaves the way it came in. The exceptions are the pieces that were assembled in the room, delivered before a renovation narrowed a doorway, or simply outgrew the stairs: sectionals, sleeper sofas, entertainment centers and armoires.

The Pieces That Cause Trouble
Sectionals
Most separate at hidden brackets. Find them before the crew arrives and the job gets shorter.
Sleeper sofas
The fold-out steel frame makes them much heavier than they look, and it can spring open when tilted. Tie it shut.
Entertainment centers and armoires
Often too tall to tip through a doorway. Many come apart at the crown or the base; some are cut up.
Recliners
The backs on many models lift straight off. Check before assuming it will not fit through the door.
Curb or Crew
For a City of Pearland residential customer, one small piece at the curb on bulk day is usually the cheapest route: Frontier Waste Solutions lists small furniture among accepted bulk items, up to two cubic yards. A crew makes sense when the piece is large, upstairs, heavy, or part of a room being cleared at once, or when you cannot get it to the curb yourself.
Furniture in good condition may have a second life. Some donation outlets pick up; most will turn down anything torn, stained or with pet damage. A hauler can usually tell you on sight what a charity will accept.
Asked About This One
Do they take furniture from an upstairs room?
Yes; say how many flights and whether the stairs turn.
Can a crew take one item, or do I need a full load?
Many contractors take single items, priced by the item. Ask for a single-item quote.
What about a sofa with bedbugs?
Say so on the call. It changes how the piece is wrapped and handled.
