Move-out cleanouts in Pearland
The movers take what is on the inventory. What is left after the truck pulls away, the broken patio set, the garage shelves, the fridge that was not worth moving, is what a move-out cleanout clears, usually against a closing date or a lease end.

Timing Is the Whole Job
- 1
Know the deadline
The closing, the buyer’s final walk-through or the landlord’s inspection date. Book the crew at least a day before it, not the same morning.
- 2
Do not count on trash day
Pearland’s bulk day comes on a set schedule and caps at two cubic yards. A move-out pile usually misses both.
- 3
Leave a key or code
If you have already left town, arrange lockbox or door-code access and a photo of each room so the crew knows what goes.
- 4
Ask for photos after
A photo of each empty room is useful for the landlord, the buyer or your realtor.
The Usual Leftovers
Garage and shed
Shelving, paint, old tools, the second refrigerator.
Outside
Patio furniture, planters, a playset, a basketball goal.
Inside
The guest bed, the old desk, whatever the new place had no room for.
Asked About This One
Can a move-out cleanout happen after I have left?
Yes. Most contractors work from a key or code and send photos when done.
Do they clean too?
Most junk removal crews sweep; they do not do move-out cleaning. Book a cleaner separately and schedule them after the haul.
What about a rental where the tenant left things?
That is often closer to an eviction or abandoned-property cleanout. See that page for what the property owner should settle first.
